Maps4Garmin allows users of most devices to get a live weather radar image on their device for a small fee.
Additionally, many high-memory devices support radar animation. This allows users to wath the weather radar animate over data from the past 50 minutes. As mentioned above, the weather radar is not free, and at the time of this writing, is $3.50 USD.
